Sailor in 1871 Korean action

Artist's conception of fight between US and Korean personnel. There are two inaccuracies in this picture; the sailor has a long rifle-- Navy personnel had Remington Rolling Block carbines. The other being, the Korean has a western-style saber; the Korean sword was more like a Samurai sword in appearance.
